THE H&D DIFFERENCE
You will be treated by a physical therapist AND… you will be seen 1-on-1 for 60 minutes.
WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE
After 20 minutes, your therapist will still be treating you (you won’t be sent home or back to work). After 40 minutes, your therapist will still be treating you (you won’t be passed off to an aide). After 60 minutes, your therapist will have just finished treating you and you’ll leave with a home exercise plan that will help you integrate what you learned today.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A TREATMENT?
You and your therapist will create an individualized Plan of Care – a strategy that will help you do the things you want to do.
That Plan of Care will reflect your condition:
-therapy for your spine or other joints
- pelvic floor physical therapy
- vestibular rehabilitation or better balance
- hand therapy
It may include a mix of patient education, hands-on techniques, exercise or other holistic strategies.
